Nestled in the historic town of Wakefield, RI, students in the fall can plug in their laptops and go online –
travelers discover and return year after year – and regulars become family.
Miles from URI and minutes from the beaches, Caf Bar sits among local small businesses and community
gathering spots on historic Main Street. The elements of Caf Bar’s aesthetic and space are comfy cozy
with a speakeasy vibe. Part café, part bar - Caf Bar holds something for everyone from daily caffeine
intake to PM hours, live music and private events.

The heart of our endeavor is quality coffee. We proudly serve Downeast Coffee Roasters, a third-generation, family-owned and operated organization roasted in Pawtucket RI. There is no such thing as mediocre coffee in our world.
We use seasonal, local, organic products whenever possible to create house-made syrups and our diverse food menu of juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches. Small plates during PM hours are complimented by craft low-ABV cocktails, glass of wine or cold beer from a local brewery.

Wakefield is the heart of South County, welcoming young families and those who have lived in the neighborhood for generations. We believe community is everything, and our passion for coffee can have a cause.
Owner operated by Elias and his behind-the-scene’s wife Ally, Caf Bar is powered by it’s exceptional team. Jackie Bell leads day-to day operations and special events having been with Caf Bar from day one. All things food are mastered by Executive Chef Jeff Schultz, who we affectionately refer to as “Cheffrey.”
